The Power You Possess

Man is known to only use 10% of his brain. Despite this he has achieved quite a lot. He has built a vessel made of metal but has the ability to defile gravity; the Aircraft. He has even built a vessel with enough propensity to travel to space.

He has discovered, due to his curiosity, mind blowing things or events; like different other planet and how they revolve round the sun, the milky way, asteroids and comets. He has built machines to explore, for him, the vastness of space.

With his creative mind, man has solved problems that has made him and everyone around him comfortable.

For 10% he's done a lot!!!

Before I go further I believe it's a good idea to establish the difference between the brain and the mind.

BRAIN VS MIND

Now while it's used interchangeably the Mind and the Brain are very different. The brain and it's activity is finite or limited and quantifiable. It can be seen and touched. The mind on the other hand can't be seen or touched; except it's physical expression. While the mind and the brain may be linked the activity of the mind isn't limited to that of the brain.

Just like every unseen activity that governs the things seen so also is how the activity of the Mind governs that of the brain. In other words, every activity of the Mind (thoughts, emotions etc) has a corresponding response of the brain in form of Electro and Neuro response.

So we can conclude that the brain is an expression of the activity of the mind but the activity of the mind transcends the brain.

GOING FORWARD

With this knowledge established I can argue that the activity of the brain or how well it's engaged in solving problem is determined by the creativity of the mind.

Remember the creation in Genesis....when God Created Man? After He created every other thing by speaking to it's source He then said "Let us Make Man in our Image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion....(Genesis 1:26 (English Standard Version).

In Genesis 2:7 we see that God breathe into Man and he became a living being. It's Important to note that at this state man was Incredible and Glorious. To understand the Incredible state of man at this point please watch my "Mr Incredible Video".

Man at this point Man had the ability to be aware of himself and his environment. In other words, man could think, reason, feel, articulate immensely. His thought processes weren't just limited to the present but the future. This means man's knowledge was highly progressive. Hence the reason why technology and/or civilisation is more advance than it was.

God has blessed 'MAN' with the mind. When I say Man I mean both male and female. Genesis 1:28 says.."He blessed them..." not Christians. In other words an unbeliever or an atheist (some who doesn't believe in the existence of God) can be prosperous in terms of financial independence and financial freedom but a fired up tongue speaking and prayerful believer that's always first in church is in abject poverty.

The difference is one has engaged his mind by getting knowledge and putting it into use and the other just keeps praying without doing anything.

WAKE UP CALL

As Christians we need to wake up! We need to understand that there is no money in heaven....the is no job in heaven...no car or house. All that is here on earth. So if a believer prays for money or house or car he shouldn't necessarily expect that because God doesn't transact that way.

What He does is He gives you witty inventions and ideas so you can create value in the market place. He then gives you grace and favour so when you engage in the market place you would get the money. The people of the world understand this but I dare say some or most Christians don't.

We ask for a mustard tree or and oak tree and because He wants us to sustain it when we get it He blesses us with a mustard seed or an acorn. We toss it away in disdain not understanding that in a mustard seed are many mustard trees or an acorn are many oak trees.

We need to begin to engage our minds, with the help of the Holy Spirit because that's the way you can get and enjoy dominion.

That the way you can build thant business from the seed form into a multi-national level....that's the way you can get out of debt....that's the way you can attain financial freedom and financial intelligence...that's the way you can truly express your true self in Christ here on earth.
